Linear Slide- leadscrew version
thingiverse
Create a simple leadscrew-operated linear slide utilizing parts from another project, accompanied by two motor mounts for repurposed cordless drill motors. This demonstrates leadscrew versus belt-driven linear stages. Most components can be found at thingiverse.com/thing:41897. Essential materials include an M8 rod of desired length, six M8 nuts (two extra for timing gear mounts), M8 washers, M6 bolts, nuts, and washers, two 20-tooth t2.5x6 timing gears, a timing belt sized according to your motor, a timing belt tracking bracket (optional for flangeless gears), custom motor mounts adapted from the provided design, a salvaged gear motor from a cordless drill, and an M8 threaded lead screw nut. Assemble the printed parts as described in the instructions and combine with the other components to test your linear slide prototype.
