The product consists of a slide carriage crafted from 8020 aluminum, with an overall size corresponding to the 1010 (1") dimension. This construction utilizes three out of four available sides, leaving one T-slot accessible for attachment purposes. Under balanced loading conditions, particularly when lubricated slightly, the carriage glides smoothly. However, slight deviations in side loadings can lead to binding. This design is not optimized for long-term use in demanding environments such as 3D printers or CNC machinery, due in part to its lack of structural reinforcement. Nonetheless, it includes two holes with a diameter of 1/4" for mounting attachments like extrusions oriented at right angles or a camera tripod adapter.
