Linear Rod to 20v20 Extrusion Conversion
cults3d
I recently upgraded my Anet A8+ to linear rods and V rollers in the over/under configuration, which significantly improved bed leveling on my printer. I replaced the standard extrusions with 20x20 Extrusions that utilize V rollers, making it easier to achieve precise alignments. This modification also allowed me to upgrade to a more efficient Z axis endstop setup, requiring only minor adjustments to its location. The loss of print height due to this conversion is minimal and easily offset by the improved print quality and reduced vibrations during printing. I've documented the process with photos, which should be sufficient for those looking to replicate this modification on their own printers.
