Linear rod limit switch mount
thingiverse
I did not want to drill into my 3018-Pro, so I made limit switch mounts that clip onto the linear roads. There is a clip for the 10mm road used by the X and Y axis, and one for the 8mm road used by the Y axis. The mounts are made to fit the limit switches designed to work with the 3018-ProVER, like [these](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P1D6WTR?psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=donfbecker-20&linkId=7e973e9a581879b626bb46b9bc71aabb&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl). The controller on my 3018-Pro uses 2-pin dupont connectors for limit switches, so I removed the red wire from what was provided, and crimped a dupont connector to the other end of the black and white wire. For the Z axis, desoldered the existing 90 degree pin header, and soldered back on a vertical connector. The screw holes are a bit under 3mm. I was able to just start an M3 screw into them, but I run a 3mm tap through them to be safe.
