To find suitable rails, I dismantled an old DVD drive and discovered two 2.9mm rods. Using my digital calipers, I reverse-engineered the print head of the Printable Unicorn, designing side brackets to accommodate the rods. After gluing the rails to the body with melted ABS, I assembled the unicorn and trimmed the rods to fit within the side rails. Now, it's time to test the functionality of my creation, despite the large .avi file size due to recovering from a SSD failure without file conversion software.
