Linear Rail Y Axis 324mm Wilson LulzBot 2020
thingiverse
These are unassembled linear rail components for any 2020 framed printer, including Wilson II and LulzBot models, with 324mm centers for bed sizes of 400x400 or 500x500mm. They may require testing to ensure their functionality. Designed for use with GT2 Belt systems, these rails might not be suitable for high-bed-weight applications due to potential deflection issues under tensioned belts. The original intention was to create a robust, mostly printed Y axis that could accommodate larger and heavier beds. To assemble the rail system, use cheap SBR12-500mm linear bearing rails and SBR12UU sliding blocks from eBay. Clamp the linear rails in place with M5 and M3 bolts and nuts using Y_axis_linear_rail_clamp.stl parts. Required hardware includes 8x M3 x 60mm screws and 8x M5 x 25mm screws. A test part is included to verify that your linear rail fits before printing a full end plate. Print settings for these components are as follows: Printer: LulzBot TAZ 6 Custom; Rafts: Not specified; Supports: Not specified; Resolution: 0.2 mm; Infill: 80%.
