linear rail direct drive bmg mount for ender 3
thingiverse
I designed this specifically for my Ender 3 printer, using an Ivertech Linear Rail and BLTouch with a Mosquito hotend and BMG with V6 mount - it should also work fine with standard mounts. I didn't include a fan mount, so it's relatively basic, but it works fairly well based on my testing. The image uploaded is the original version (v1) that I created, along with some offset settings for BLTouch that I found through my experimentation: x = 28, y = -19. UPDATE: I've revised this project to make it slightly wider on one side opposite of the X motor to reduce belt tension and allow for separate adjustment via a tensioner. UPDATE: This project has been put on hold because I'm now working on a custom CoreXY printer and have given my Ender 3 to my roommate. If you're interested in a similar linear rail setup, I recommend checking out Ivertech's Linear Rail design for the Ender 3 - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3194796/makes, along with their hotend mount, which is what I eventually switched to since I didn't want to continue using the stock extrusion, and also paired it with this linear rail setup - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4096159
