Linear motion 8mm axis and 10mm axis (rostock mini)

I have a Rostock Mini myself and was unhappy with the stock linear motion system. The LM8UU bearings that I use are cheap and have a lot of play, which you will see in print results clearly. I decided to challenge myself to come up with a way to have a tight system while having adjustable screws to tighten or loosen when needed. So here it is! I have included a body for 8mm axis and for 10mm axis, since these are most used with LM8UU or LM10UU. The Idler.stl is compatible with both. You need two pieces for one body piece. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Rostock Mini Ruby Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: Doesn't matter Notes: Most of this model is made of walls or perimeters. If your printing width is too large, it may "delete" certain important parts of the print. I have printed in the current orientation since my cooling settings are ideal and I was lucky enough not to need any support. My settings were: 0.15 layer height 0.35 perimeter width (to ensure details remain good) 20% infill (there is not a lot of infill, mostly perimeters) Post-Printing Before assembling, you will need 36 pieces of 623zz bearings to make a kit of three linear rails like the Rostock. You will also need 36 screws or axes to satisfy these bearings. You should not need any washers. To attach the idle piece to the body, I took a screw of M3x40 and let it screw its own thread in the plastic. No nuts were needed. Before heading into full assembly mode, you should try fitting one piece and see if the 623zz bearing rotates freely. It cost me a lot of time to realize I had made a mistake early in the prototyping, needing to remove all 36 pieces a couple of times...
