Linear guide
thingiverse
This is my take on a linear slide build with a 3D printer. It's still a work in progress, but I'm planning to use it on a light CNC milling machine soon. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! I'll be updating the design in the future with connecting rails and mounting options. The current prototype is working smoothly, with hardly any play at all. By applying tension to the screws that clamp the small piece onto the rail, bearing play can be reduced even further. The holes are sized to thread M3 bolts perfectly. I've included the Solidworks 2019 files (educational version) so you can customize the design if needed.
With this file you will be able to print Linear guide with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Linear guide.
