The creator followed the idea but made their own design with identical parts - moving one part causes another to move as well. The model was designed using Solidworks 2015 and rendered with Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited into an AVI/X264 video format, which was then remuxed to MP4 with MyMP4BoxGui. GIFs were created in PhotoScape, while renders were edited with IrfanView. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files are animated, with the ZIM file viewable on IOS and Android devices using the Simlab Viewer app. The model is available in various formats, including Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 6, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
