Linear Bearings, IGUS Style !!!
thingiverse
Published an updated version of the LM8UU V3 (the last file in the list) with a simpler design. These linear bearings make excellent replacements for noisy alternatives, such as LMxUU. To cater to different printer needs, I have designed "ready-to-print" bearings that are equivalent to LM6UU, LM8UU, and LM10UU, all with the same size as the original bearings. The tooth thickness is optimized for printing on a 0.5mm nozzle, but a LM10UU with a 0.35mm nozzle also prints well. More teeth provide better performance. To use these bearings, simply insert them into your rods and experiment with rolling/sliding to ensure smooth movement; lubrication can be applied if desired. Print the bearings slowly with 0 infill and at least three perimeters. These bearings have been tested on X and Y axes at 120mm/s infill and 200mm/s travel speeds without failing, and an LM12UU version has also been added.
