Nophead's Mendel90 design inspired me to create an OpenSCAD script for generating a mount for linear bearings. After fixing some issues with the dimensions, I shared it hoping it would be useful to others. You can check NopHead's blog at http://www.hydraraptor.blogspot.com/ for more inspiration. Although my design could use optimization, it currently functions well. The script is set to fit an LM8UU linear bearing but can be easily modified for different zip ties and bearings.
