Linear bearing Y axis

thingiverse

This alternative Y axis design replaces the original Mendel/Prusa setup, boasting easier assembly and incorporating bearings for enhanced performance. To construct it, follow these instructions: print 4 copies each of y_linear.stl and y_linear_space.stl files; create a 32x32cm MDF board and align the printed ybed.xcf on paper (ensuring 32cm measurement) onto the board for drilling holes accordingly. Mount bearing holders with M3 screws and nuts, then install the Y axis on rails at 15.2cm apart, ensuring smooth movement. Lastly, attach the timing belt, heated bed, etc., to complete the setup.
