LM8UU Linear Guide for 8mm Round Shafts. Due to manufacturing tolerances of the linear guides and small inaccuracies in 3D printing, LM8UU bearings are available in increments from 8.0 to 8.7 mm inner diameter. Simply try different ones to see which fits well onto the rail and moves smoothly. Igus's release bearing implementation didn't really impress me. Additionally, comments from various suppliers were mostly negative. Therefore, I developed my own release bearings myself. The slide elements are the same, only the housing is presented differently. The bearing has the opportunity to move in the housing so that parallelism errors of the guides can be compensated for. The height matches the original housings of the Anycubic i3 Mega S. I recommend adjusting the release bearings at the separation surface between upper and lower shell with spacers. The bearing should move slightly within the housing but have no play in a vertical direction. The housings are available in two versions: Version A ensures axial security through an M4 knurled head screw, while version B uses a small clip. Version B is required for the Y-axis on the Anycubic i3 Mega S due to limited space near the housing, and there's no room for the screw from version A.
