Linear Bearing for a v2 RapMan
thingiverse
A Y-axis bearing improvement for a Bits From Bytes RapMan (2008 version 2) was essential after printing two Stanford bunnies, which strained the Y-axis. To replace the bearing, gently loosen the cornerblock bolts and move the bar slightly to access the bearing. For stability, insert a small 8mm rod in the cornerblock while replacing the bearing. If you have a larger 3D printer, lengthen the block to cover the entire bearing length for optimal support. Additionally, this block is designed to be printed on TOM or MakerBot printers; however, it can be customized for use with larger capacity 3D printers.
