Linear Bearing for 8mm Smooth Rod with 608 Bearings - Less Filament
thingiverse
Hello everyone, this is a remix of ZNahum's Linear Bearing. All sides are 6-8 mm too long, so I decided to shorten them to use less filament. I also altered the design by creating a 30° angle to minimize filament usage. To assemble the bearing, use M8 x 25mm screws and insert them from the rounded side. Additionally, place washers on either side of the 608 Bearing for added stability. Due to the initial design's single-bearing configuration, the smooth rod can move in any direction, which may cause issues. To address this, I revised the second version to include three bearings, ensuring a more stable and straight movement.
