This linear bearing comprises five discrete sections, each fabricated as a standalone unit. Nineteen precision copper spheres, measuring exactly 3.2 millimeters in diameter, are individually positioned within these sections. To adapt this bearing to accommodate larger tube diameters, merely design an expanded outer housing with a pentagonal shape and enlarge its dimensions accordingly; the pre-fabricated sections will effortlessly nest within these enlarged corners, providing exceptional smoothness in motion. Take pleasure in exploring your creativity! To achieve optimal results, meticulously print each section using a calibration-verified printer. Ensure that your printing setup doesn't excessively use plastic material. Printing too little is more desirable than printing excessively, especially when attempting to attain precise, silky-smooth finishes. When printing my sections, I intentionally employed 10% less material flow compared to the typical, calibrated printing procedure for best results.
