This is a 3D printed test slider / linear actuator I constructed to evaluate the performance of Igus linear bearings in conjunction with affordable steel linear guide shafts for my 3D printer project. The leadscrew on the drive end has full support, while the free end allows axial motion without restriction. A nut with anti-backlash functionality is incorporated. To ensure optimal performance, the screw must be machined according to the attached drawing specifications. The chosen linear bearings are Igus WJ200UM-01-10 models.
