Recently updated on 15th June 2018 with the 2020 version (endstop/non-endstop) of Fusion 360 files. Previous update on 2nd March 2018 featured LinearActuator v50 that included screws and t-nuts in its design, along with a redesigned beltGrip and Linear Adapter for enhanced strength and better fit. The F3D, IGES, and STEP files were also uploaded. This linear actuator features a belt running inside 2020 extrusion and has an integrated tensioner spring in the idler adapter. It also comes with built-in end stop. A current video showcases a Nema 17 0.4 motor running at 11,000 mm/min without skipping, with higher speeds possible using stronger stepper motors. The parts used include 8020 1003 series extrusions, belt tensioner spring, endstop, NEMA 17 0.4A stepper motor, Linear Rail MGN12 250mm, square nuts, and hex socket screws in various sizes. GrabCAD models, such as the Timing Pulley GT2 (20 teeth, 5mm bore) and Endstop Microswitch 1A 125VAC (designed by Makerbot), were also used in the design.
