Linear actuator micro servo motor with a case

thingiverse

This is a linear actuator that uses a micro servo and is controlled by any module or microcontroller such as Arduino. Here's a video showing it in action: https://youtu.be/6OZIdFNIbVk The design was created with the purpose of moving a heating coil attached to the tip of the actuator. However, it can be used for anything else if it meets your requirements. This actuator is capable of moving 6cm. It was designed using Solidworks 2018. If you'd like to customize it, please ask about design files. The case features many 12mm holes that are perfect for mounting panel connectors such as power supply connections. The case wall thickness is 1.5mm, while the base and case cover are 2mm thick. You can print just the actuator mechanism and design your own case if you prefer. In addition to the 3D printed parts and servo, you'll need the following screws and nuts: * 3 x 2.3* 8mm 8g/9g Servo Mount Screws (These are the same as those that come with a 9g servo; you'll need two for holding the motor on the case and one for connecting the arm to the servo) * 4 x M4 10-12mm screws only (for securing the cover over the case) * 3 x M4 12mm screws and nuts (to secure the actuator cover, but can be ignored if you use glue to stick the cover to the retainer) * 1 x M4 20mm screw and nut (to hold the actuator retainer to the cover)
