Lineair bearing

Lineair bearing

Maybe this Fusion 360 designed parametric dry linear bearing could help someone. I am thinking especially of makers who, for example, work with recycled materials (for example, rods from inkjet printers and the like). In the fusion file you only have to adjust one parameter (Modify --> change parameters) to the desired diameter of the rod and the entire design is adjusted. By then changing the extrusion height, you determine the height of the bearing yourself.

I haven't done much testing with this design yet. Printed only in PETG and mounted on an 8 mm rod together with silicone spray. After sliding up and down a few times, the bearing moved smoothly and without play over the rod. Feedback on other materials (nylon?) and operation are welcome.

Edit 03/09/2022: I added the extrusion height to te parameters (fusion 360 file, version2).
