Line Roller carriage (adjustable)
thingiverse
An adaptable line roller base that supports the Kossel mini carriage, or serves as a substitute for a MGN12 linear rail, is designed to accommodate various profile and wheel sizes. Engineered specifically for Maker beam 1515, it also seamlessly integrates with 2020 and 1530 configurations. The system utilizes dovetail blocks to secure the wheels in place. Compatible with any carriage that meets MGN12 standards, the base offers a versatile mounting solution. Featuring small shower rollers readily available at hardware stores, this setup showcases its functionality. To assemble the dovetail blocks, 35-45mm M3 bolts and embedded M3 nuts are required, necessitating precise tolerances. This design is perfectly paired with JAW's Kossel Mini Carriage R2 Remix of Boksbox's creation - a highly regarded project that integrates MGN12 spacing and M3 adjustable endstops.
