Line idler for makerslide
thingiverse
This idler, designed for Spectra filament drives like those on Kossels, has been adapted to work with Makerslide by featuring a sliding key for the front t-slot and a hole for a screw from the top rail. It derives from tensioner_608.scad on GitHub's kossel repository. For optimal printing, set infill at around 33% and slow down print speed for precise details. To install, slip the key into the Makerslide's front t-slot, insert a long m4 bolt through the hole, and attach to the top frame using a knurled nut if desired. Incorporate a 608 bearing and thread a line over it; choose between an M8 stud or tensioner_axle.scad from the same repository for completion.
