Line Coil Hook

This small hook, specifically designed for holding coils of line, can be printed on a 3D printer or machined using a 3-axis mill. Ensure strong print material, like ABS Plastic with solid infill, is used to bear the weight of the rope. Attach it to your desired location by bolting through its central 1/4-inch hole. To hang your coil of line, tie a small string (1/8 inch or smaller) to the loop at the hook's bottom. This string should pass through the center of the coil and back up to the top of the part, where a bowline knot is tied for easy hanging and removal. Unfortunately, a picture illustration is pending access to 3D printing tools. STL files and Autodesk Inventor part files are provided for single and multiple units.
