Line 6 G50 Wireless Receiver Horizontal Rack Mount
thingiverse
Rack mount for the Line 6 Relay G50 receiver unit. I designed it to mount the receiver in the back of my rack unit on my Axe FX II XL+ rig so that it could be used as a 2nd input (Line 6 G90 is the main input) The mount itself takes up 1U of rack space, but the receiver goes into the next unit of space. To use the rack mount, take the base screws out of the G50 receiver and use them to fasten the mount to the base of the receiver. Longer screws could be used, but I designed the part to use the original ones, which is why there are the bumps that go into the holes for more material. I printed with 1.5mm wall thickness (compared to my default 0.8mm) for added strength with 10% infill. I used supports to make sure the cavities for the mounting holes came through well. Might not need them. With the unit mounted, it can bounce around, so it might not survive heavy gigging. My vertical version is definitely more rugged, but I wanted to make it horizontal and on the top of the rack so the antennae went over the top of the rack. More support could be added at an angle down to other rack units. Might be a future addition.
