Lincoln's Revenge - Rapid fire penny shooter
thingiverse
First off, this is a serious device meant for adults only. Don't shoot at people, yourself or animals with it. Treat it with respect! I'm warning you now that building this thing can be a bit finicky. The tolerances have to be spot on so the pennies come out of the hopper without jamming. If it's too tight, I recommend gluing some sandpaper to a board and sanding down the Rack Slide.stl until you get a smooth but snug fit. If it's too loose, find something slick that you can cut out and tape to the bottom of the Rack Slide to tighten up the gap, making sure it moves freely. You'll need some metal 3/16" rod to build this thing. You'll also have to file some flats on so that it fits snugly into the Left Pinion.stl's hole. First, secure the left pinion onto your rod with some SuperGlue for added insurance. Then glue on the Crank Pinion after threading through the axle hole. Before the glue sets, insert the rack slide and rotate both of the pinions so that the last tooth of the pinions both rest on the last tooth of the rack. This way they'll be perfectly aligned. Update: I realized not everyone has a never-ending supply of USA pennies in their couches or ashtrays, so I added some alternative ammo for those outside of the US.
