I designed a replacement shifter knob for my own 2004 Lincoln Navigator after it cracked, ensuring a perfect fit that would work seamlessly with models from 2003 to 2006. The design may also accommodate Ford Expeditions, but this ultimately depends on the specific model's shift knob compatibility. The dealership refused to sell just the part, insisting on selling the complete shift knob for over $400. INSTALLATION: When installing my custom shifter knob, I first performed a test fit and discovered that the lower portion required minimal sanding with 100-grit sandpaper to achieve a perfect fit. Next, I applied a few drops of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to the areas where the plastic knob and bezel met, being cautious not to glue the button.
