Limit Switch Mounts and Wiring Box for CNC3020
thingiverse
I designed mounts to adjust and fix limit switches from type 105126SPGJL5375, since the CNC 3020 router doesn't have them mounted even with a sufficient number of inputs available on the controller. The XZ-plate can be fixed on existing bolt holes using longer bolts. Other plates are glued in place to keep the device's warranty intact. The wiring box can also be mounted using the bolt for the cable chain, after removing all paint from the threads to ground the device with a cable socket within the box. A clip terminal can be contacted at the connector for the probe signal on the front side of the box, where an additional 5-terminal jack is connected to the limit-switch and probe inputs of the connectors plate in the controller's case. The cable is drawn together with the spindles' cable through the cable chains to the wiring box on the portal. To prevent shearing of the cable at the end of the moving area, draw the wire for the Y-switches as shown in the picture.
