Limit switch holder 20mm makerbeam
thingiverse
This insert fits snugly into the groove of a standard 20mm Makerbeam rail. 1) The slot's hole measures precisely 3.96mm or 5/32", perfect for accommodating a 10-32 bolt. 2) Tightening the insert into the rail is now made possible, thanks to this carefully designed feature. 3) Simply use a 10-32 bolt or tap to thread the hole in the insert and secure it firmly. 4) Feel free to modify the surface of your blank insert as needed to accommodate any item you desire. 5) To take advantage of laser cutting capabilities, I've included an SVG file generated from Inkscape - simply import and adjust as required. 6) The DXF file can be easily modified to hold any object onto the rail, providing endless customization possibilities. 7) By scaling the insert along the z-axis, you can create a longer insert that suits your specific needs. 8) Using Inkscape's tracing feature, I carefully outlined the channel's dimensions for accuracy. This design is part of an automated Immunostainer system controlled by Arduino and featuring a Makerbeam frame with Nema 17 stepper motors. Megunolink handles control, protocol definition, and user interface duties with ease. Best regards!
