The votive limestone artefact has a circular design with a central perforation that draws attention on both sides. A raised edge surrounds the hole, creating a distinctive visual effect. This unique artefact was unearthed within the Neolithic necropolis of the Escoural Cave, where ancient burials once took place. Today, it resides in the collection at Museum of São Domingos in Montemor-o-Novo, though it originally belonged to the Museu Nacional de Arqueologia's storied holdings.
