Limestone Indian Maiden Panel at First National Bank

Limestone Indian Maiden Panel at First National Bank

thingiverse

Downtown Sioux Falls is home to the First National Bank, its main entrance flanked by limestone panels depicting a Native American woman and man. Originally installed when the bank moved into a larger building in May 1929, these panels were spared demolition during the misguided urban renewal efforts that swept America in the 1960s-1970s. Today, they serve as a popular backdrop for photoshoots. Since sharing this model, I've made some adjustments to make it printable. While my STL is serviceable, it could benefit from additional refinement on the sides. Using Meshlab, I cleaned up the design. However, the print quality in the photo doesn't accurately represent its potential. Printed at 0.2mm with Cura, this particular print was marred by layer shifts visible to the naked eye. If you decide to print it, I'd love to see how your model turns out.
