Hardware pack now available, including nuts, bolts, spring, adhesive and camera thumb screw @ https://www.limbbofoundation.co.uk/product-page/limbbo-cam-buddy-parts-pack NO DRILLING REQUIRED NOW AS I HAVE INCLUDED THE HOLES IN THE NEW STL FILES ATTACHED The LimbBo Cam Buddy was designed by Adam Dengel of the LimbBo Foundation to help children with limb differences (particularly those missing right arms / hands) use a domestic camera more easily. My son, born without his right arm / hand, struggled to use a camera properly. This device I created enables people to take pictures using their left arm as 99% cameras do not have a fire button on the left hand side. The device houses most average-sized cameras and has long rails on the base plate for movement both backwards and forwards so you can position your model of camera to line up with the fire pin. I attached 10 different sizes of pin ends tested to fit on different cameras, but you can resize in software such as TinkerCad if none of these fit. This part is interchangeable should you change cameras in the future. I have tested various cameras, including: Canon Powershot sx710HS (5mm PIN) Canon Powershot sx210IS (17mm PIN) Canon Powershot A3200IS (18MM PIN) Check online to compare dimensions if needed. *Additional Tools / Equipment Required For The Build* M3 X 25mm Allen Head Bolts x 2 M3 x 22mm Allen Head Bolts x 4 M3 Nylok Nuts x 4 M3 Standard Nuts x 2 Allen Keys Superglue (Gel) 1/4 Thumb Screw (Camera tripod mount bolt) These can be found easily online.
