We are the LimbBo Foundation, a registered UK charity (1180501) dedicated to helping children born with or living with limb differences find joy. Our mission is to make living with a limb difference easier for kids and help them complete everyday tasks with a smile. This is the LimbBo Bike Cup Version 2, designed specifically to assist children with shortened forearms and no hand on one side in riding a bike safely and comfortably. The cup is securely attached to the bike handlebars using a ball joint and curved design, allowing the user to steer by applying gentle pressure with their "nub." Currently, over 50 of these cups are being used worldwide. All main parts can be printed using a 3D printer, but it's essential to follow the provided printing instructions carefully. We've included step-by-step building instructions that must be followed to ensure proper function. This project requires an intermediate level of knowledge in slicing software and 3D printing, as well as basic tool understanding. An extended cup version for children with no or very little forearm is also available, scheduled for release on this platform soon.
