An outflow for connecting to 1" pvc pipe plumbed to a Fluval FX6 Filter. I tried many versions and this version works best for me to reduce the tornado effect in my 90 gallon aquarium using the standard outflow. It has an out and slight upward flow which calms the tank down and keeps a gentle surface flow to increase gas exchange at the surface. Before designing and testing this I had a spray bar but that left no refuge from the current for some of my fish that like a calmer flow of water. I am in the process of making variations of this design to test as well and will post them here when I am finished. The spin flow design I added today will definitely require supports to print. I have also included the Fusion 360 files if anyone more experienced than I wishes to make remixes of them. The design uses two 16mm x 1.5mm o-rings to assist in staying seated in the pvc elbow.
