Lilly impeller remake
thingiverse
Thingiverse is an awesome platform to share creations. I stumbled upon this design and was immediately impressed by its innovative features. Although I didn't create the original STL file, I was thrilled to find it on Thingiverse and couldn't resist giving it a try. I tweaked the design to suit my needs, enlarging the bottom stem for added stability and adding support for smooth printing. Then, I converted the top hole into a through hole, perfect for accommodating long shafts. To make it even more versatile, I included a Blender file that allows users to modify the shaft's size and length to their liking. The original STL file was generously shared by yzorg on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:956458). For those interested in learning more about this remarkable design, I recommend checking out Rex Research (http://www.rexresearch.com/harmanprop/harmanprop.htm) and marveling at the ingenuity of its inventor. The creator of this genius device is truly a visionary, as evident from their patent (http://www.google.com/patents/US7862302). I'm eager to see how my modified design turns out after it prints – stay tuned for an update!
