Lil'Derp Model Rocket
thingiverse
These are small derivatives of my "Rocket Boy" 24mm Rocket (found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4860055). One version is made from a 41mm (BT-60) body tube and the other two are made from 24mm (BT-50) body tubes. For both versions you will also need a 13mm (BT-5) tube for the motor, a shock cord, and streamer for recovery. The smaller variant has two different fin designs. There is a standard type 3 fin design and a neat 2 fin design. The 2 fin design has angled fins to induce a spin for stability and it flies straight as an arrow. These Lil'Derps are designed to fly in smaller fields and use the small 13mm motors. I recommend the A4-3Ts, though it's possible they'd fly fine on others (if you try it, let me know). If you make the 41mm version, print the nose cone WITH support and a 20% infill, it likes a little weight. The 24mm versions need the nose cone printed WITH support and a 40% infill. The fins on the 24mm version I printed with 1.2mm walls and NO infill. They also need support.
