UPDATED: 3/16 [Fortified loop now keeps thumb secure, less prone to breaking]. I noticed someone else conceived a similar idea initially but thought I could refine the design to address an overlooked issue. This clever "LikeIt" or "Thumbs Up" bookmark effectively spotlights quality books in libraries. The original was essentially a wedge positioned between stacked books on shelves, yet it frequently toppled when volumes were rearranged. In contrast, my design neatly slides between pages and securely fastens with its adjustable loop-hook, effortlessly slipping between books' page spaces. In addition to showcasing outstanding reads, I've included a "thumbs down" model for tracking exceptionally poor novels that inevitably surface from time to time. Thank you goes out to Bouncymonkey for pioneering the concept behind my library book highlighter; be sure to check his impressive library-themed creations on the site. The enhanced design was meticulously crafted using Tinkercad, accessible at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/9jJCXnpOozT for online modification.
