I prefer placing the battery at the bottom of the quad, which keeps it centered around the balance point. Conveniently, there are pre-existing cutouts on the underside plate for securing the battery with Velcro straps. However, I've encountered a problem: the battery tends to slide forward or backward within the strap and may eventually fall out. To address this issue, I have created a remarkably minimalist battery holder. Given that weight is paramount on a mini quad and every gram counts, my design minimizes unnecessary mass while effectively securing the battery. This custom-made holder consists of two narrow brackets mounted securely on either side of the battery, holding it firmly in place without requiring any modifications to the frame's original structure. Moreover, no additional hardware replacements are necessary since the existing bolts can easily accommodate these lightweight holders.
