Lightweight Tap Handles

Lightweight Tap Handles

I'm not sure what to do with these compact M3-M5 tap handles for tapping holes in 3D prints. I don't think they're strong enough for tapping metal, but actually, it works just fine. I find them more convenient than the larger metal tap handles when working with plastic. The M3 and M4 versions use 35mm M5 screws, while the M5 version uses 40mm M5 screws. You should tap the holes for these screws before adding the side screws to avoid splitting the plastic. Printer: Monoprice Maker Select V2 Design: Customizable through Tinkercad Filaments: PLA
