Lightweight precise J-Head connector 3D print model

The major advantage of a bowden printer is having a very lightweight hotend that can be swung swiftly and smoothly. I designed this specific component with speed in mind, allowing it to operate over 250mm/sec without losing a single motor step. This part securely holds the 16mm J-Head firmly in place, keeping the nozzle precisely positioned. Be sure to measure your J-head carefully, as the outer diameter should be exactly 16mm and the inner diameter 12mm (refer to the blueprints). Following the installation of this component, my machine's prints are noticeably smoother, more precise, and exhibit improved repetition precision. To fine-tune the model further, I'm providing the Inventor design file. Printing Recipe: I've successfully printed the part in 0.25mm layers, but for optimal results, maintain a print layer thickness of about 0.2mm. A majority of the torque is concentrated on the skin, so it's recommended to maintain a wall thickness and top/bottom thickness of at least 1mm. To minimize weight, I've printed without infill, resulting in a component that weighs less than 8 grams; you can add an infill if desired, but no more than 15% or 15 grams for best results. This part is compatible with almost any material, but PLA is the recommended choice.
