Lightweight Loc8tor tag clip holder
thingiverse
Loc8tor tags make excellent lost-model trackers, especially when flying over crop fields or trees, but they're not designed to be easily swapped between models. These lightweight 'clips' can be permanently attached to each model and will hold the tag securely in place while allowing you to switch tags between models without needing to find a roll of fiber tape. The quick-release clips are strong enough to hold the tags securely during normal flight, but they're printed with the weakest direction in mind. This means that when moderate pressure is applied, the layers will separate. To make them stronger, I could print thicker walls or ABS bathe them, but as it stands, they're sufficient. There are three different variants of clips available - half-height, three-quarters and full-height. You may prefer more protection for your tag depending on how you fly.
