This thing uses parts provided from the Ender 2/3/5 part-cooling fan duct (also fits CR10) by xeVox, so check out their superb cooler over there. After finishing the Lightweight CR10 dual 40mm fan extruder holder, looking through all the beautiful cr10 setups you have created left me wanting some decorative and functional lighting on my own printer. I didn't want to add more cables or any additional driver for the light, so I ended up using one 12V 1W G4 led "bulb", see the attached picture. This light could then be connected to the main extruder fan output by splicing the cables - a bit of warning here! I'm not sure and couldn't find any specifications on how much current the CR10 can provide on the main fan output, so take a chance like I did, thinking that adding 0.083 amp load wouldn't hurt; everything seems to work fine. I've been using this setup for a couple of weeks now, putting in around 40 hours. This is not a guarantee that it will work for you! The way the mount for the second 40mm fan is tilted will put it extremely close to the z-axis stepper mount. See the attached image. So if you have some modifications and/or use a taller fan, this may not fit for you. In the picture everything on the printer is standard except for the extruder fan holder. The fan I use is an Aavid Thermalloy PAAD14010B, which is 10.6mm in height. This setup leaves about 1mm of clearance. There are no holes for the G4 led light, so you'll need to drill yourself and twist the legs of the led to align with those holes.
