lightweight buttstock
thingiverse
2021: 12/07 Added a minimal mini version which I prefer. Also - I left it but do not use the plastic castle nut, the stock might rotate. Better to use a real castle nut for a few $. Lightweight stock for ruger 10/22 but it uses standard buffer tube threads so really could use it for other things that don't require a buffer tube. some parts remixed from "ar15 buffer threads & castle nut" by mussy. You'll need some m3x14 screws and some m3 washers and locknuts. A couple m3x25 screws and locknuts for the vertical screw. Another m3x25 screw is also a good idea for the center to increase strength. The drill templates have a 2mm hole and a 3mm hole. The 2mm hole is a pilot hole, then finish it with a 3mm bit in the 3mm hole and file/sand the carbon burrs on the inside of the tube. 22mm OD / 20mm ID carbon tube from here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V4N1N42/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
