Lightsaber Stand
prusaprinters
There are many great lightsabers out there and I want to print them all. Many of them are from https://www.printables.com/@UnimatrixRed. With so many lightsabers and the stands all holding them in a horizontal position, I don't have enough shelf space to display them all. This stand holds one to nine lightsabers in a vertical position. The center section is designed to hold the Yoda lightsaber because it is so short although any lightsaber can be placed into any location. The side panels interlock into the center section. Select the side panels based on the number of lightsabers you wish to display. The supports that hold the lightsabers come in two vertical leg heights with three different diameter tops. The short leg is designed to be placed in the center section. Notice when printing the support legs that there is one flat side that should be flush to the print bed. Add supports but make sure the supports are set to organic and "Support on bed plate only". This allows for easy removal of the support material. The nameplates should be printed with color changes. The main nameplate is made to glue onto the slanted front of the center section. All other parts are made to be press fit. Not gluing the small nameplates allows you to rearrange the order of the lightsabers. This base model comes with the Yoda nameplate. Other nameplates will be added as remixes as I build those lightsabers and create nameplates for them. Modifications:The mounting hole in the Yoda nameplate is a bit smaller for a tight fit.
