Assembly: Print the three pieces, then fit them together. Use five-minute epoxy or something to fuse them securely. Anyone interested in playing with raw Fusion 360 source files can access them here: https://a360.co/2tFSMtG (this link will update with any future work or versions of the chassis). My work is licensed under GPL, and I'd like to note that the emitter threads are M39x2 and the pommel threads are M40x1.5. The top threading measurement was provided by @kochiro in the Galaxy's Edge discord, who got it from Anthony DeGirolamo. I measured and test-fit everything else myself. The "Chassis Solid Middle (Fixed Toggle)" file is an alternate center for the two end pieces, which can be used to create a slightly shorter hilt with that part exposed instead of wrapped in actual scrap metal. This project is not intended to replace genuine hilts sold at Galaxy's Edge or the experience provided by the Gatherers. It's meant as a fun way for people to design and build their own scrap metal to take to the park and attach to genuine hilts purchased from Savi's Workshop.
