Here are the parts I used: * A flashlight from China (http://bit.ly/2hQbR2X) * A blade with an inner diameter of 26.5mm (http://ebay.eu/2hUEJqJ) * An 18650 lithium battery, salvaged from an old laptop * A TP4056 lithium charger (http://bit.ly/2n3P21h) * Milky white foil, the same size as my blade * Reflective foil, a small piece To create the effect of a glowing blade, I wrapped the milky white foil around a thin wooden dowel several times. Then, I slid the dowel into the blade and turned it over, allowing the foil to stick to the blade on its own. Next, I added a small reflective foil to the top cap and glued it onto the blade using super glue. The switch from the flashlight was used to control the power of the saber, and it was glued inside the handle along with the charger. The wires were connected properly, and everything worked perfectly. The battery gave the entire saber a substantial weight, which I thought was really cool. However, to charge the battery, you would need to remove the bottom part of the saber, but thanks to Schmots' design, it's very easy to screw on and off!
