The Lightsaber Creation Kit (LCK) comprises 15 primary components, carefully designed for maximum versatility. These main pieces include: 3 Pummels 3 Grips 3 Joiners 3 Barrels 3 Emitters In addition to these essential parts, the kit also features several extra components, such as an extension for one of the barrels, buttons and switch pieces for the joiners, and fins for two of the grips. By combining a maximum of five and a minimum of three of these items, over 350 unique combinations can be created. Each piece is designed to print with supports, ensuring seamless assembly. Only the parts with buttons or switches require glue to add their components, while the rest of the saber can be built and disassembled without any adhesive. Every component features threads at both ends, except for emitters and hilts, which have been carefully crafted to facilitate easy connection. A coupler piece is also included, allowing users to screw parts together in the desired order. Future updates to the kit will include additional models and components, drawing inspiration from existing lightsabers. The goal is to accurately recreate these iconic designs using the LCK system. By studying known lightsabers, I aim to refine and edit them for compatibility with this kit. The example saber featured in the image, Pummel_BGrip_BJoiner_ABarrel_A (without extension)Emitter_A, demonstrates the versatility of the LCK. This creation required two couplers: one printed in ABS, matching the lightsaber parts, and another printed in PLA. A picture showcasing the PLA coupler between two components is also provided. I invite users to share their comments and photos of the sabers they create using the LCK. This kit was inspired by a set designed by RM and sold in 2009 before the company ceased operations.
