Lightsaber Blade Adapter for Disney Legacy / Galaxy's Edge / Savi's Sabers * NOTE: This project is still in development; please check the CHANGELOG below for current progress.* This adapter fits into legacy-style hilts and provides a simple mechanism to attach it. To use, insert the adapter, press down, turn counter-clockwise (as viewed from the blade perspective), and then release upwards to lock it securely. The real part of the adapter utilizes POGO pins on the hilt-side and metal connectors on the adapter-side. A key feature is a rectangle cutout that allows this adapter to twist the hilt/connector, providing flexibility in design. This project is still a Work-in-Progress (WIP), with accurate fits for the hilt and key & pogo holes already implemented. However, there are no metal connectors yet, nor a finalized connection to an actual polycarbonate blade. The plan is to connect this adapter to a standard 1" PC tube + neopixels. # CHANGELOG * 2020-01-04 - First upload. Successfully fits the legacy hilt and allows for turning & locking it in place. Accurately fits key & pogo pins. Metal connections are pending, as well as a real connection to a blade/tube. The fit is very tight, possibly requiring sanding down the outside to improve functionality.
