Lightsaber

A custom lightsaber hilt and blade assembly has been crafted with Solidworks precision. Each component part can be easily modified using Solidworks tools, allowing for seamless customization. The hilt is designed as a hollow tube with a break in the center, securely connected by threading to accommodate a battery and light source within. When ignited, the blade shines brightly, broken into manageable sections for effortless printing. Threading on the bottom of each section ensures easy removal if any part becomes damaged. For optimal results, print the blade using transparent PLA or PETG to allow maximum visibility from the internal light source. The hilt, meanwhile, benefits from metallic silk PLA for a premium finish. A standard flashlight's light and battery pack were repurposed as the lightsaber's power source, paired with a simple slide switch for convenient activation. Assembly and printing instructions are provided below: - Print Lightsaber1a-b vertically. - Rotate Lightsaber1c 30 degrees to lay flat, then print at an angle if your slicer supports this feature. - Print Lightsaber1d vertically. - Lay Lightsaber1e flat on the print bed. - Print Lightsaber1f vertically. - Combine Lightsaber1fa and Lightsaber1fb for a unique design. For optimal results, print Lightsaber1g flat on the print bed.
