LightPainting Tail-Fin Diffuser Cap
thingiverse
This is a diffuser resembling the tail fin of a fish, built for use as a light painting device. The diffuser shines brightly along its outer edges while emitting a darker glow from its center, producing visually striking patterns, particularly at movement's end. Horizontal swipes from one edge to the other result in the creation of spiky trail ends, as evident in an accompanying photo. The cap is engineered to fit seamlessly into my custom flashlight adapter or self-made RGB flashlight (blade tool). Designs for these components can be found online at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1444585 (blade tool) and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1316926 (flashlight adapter). All parts are designed to print without any necessary supports, ensuring a smooth printing process.
